About the Chef
Ever since I was a young girl I knew I wanted to be a chef. I used to watch my mom mix cake batter and I had dreams of licking the spoon. The rich, buttery batter looked so tempting but before I knew it the cake was in the oven soon to be a double layer vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. At that moment I knew, I wanted to be pastry chef. I wanted to recreate that same blissful moment for others to indulge into.
During my teen years my interest evolved into a passion. In order to build upon my desire and hone my pastry talents I enrolled in Chef’s Choice courses and subsequently obtaining my bachelors degree in baking and pastry arts at Johnson & Wales University. While attending college I had the pleasure of working at The Johnson & Wales Inn in the Audury’s kitchen. Through Cakes by Eboni, I plan on spreading the love that I felt from baking with my mother as a young girl to the Rhode Island Area through beautiful and flavorful pieces of art in cake form.
